Clinical psychologist Dr. Allison Bell treats children, adolescents, and adults through her well-established Katonah, New York, private practice. She focuses on supporting couples through the collaborative divorce process, an alternative to litigation that allows couples to resolve conflicts respectfully and with dignity. Dr. Bell also provides couples’ therapy and neuropsychological evaluations for children. Additionally, she holds certification in eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR) psychotherapy techniques to assist patients who have suffered trauma. For more than a decade, Dr. Allison Bell has performed forensic custody evaluations in Supreme and Family Courts throughout southern New York State.
Reflecting her focus on assisting couples going through divorce, Dr. Bell is a member of the New York Chapter of the Association of Family and Conciliation Courts and co-chair of the Hudson Valley Collaborative Divorce and Dispute Resolution Association. She also maintains charter membership in the Forensic Division of the New York State Psychological Association. Dr. Bell’s current activities include training professionals throughout the United States in collaborative divorce practices. She is a longtime educational advocate for children with special needs and teaches movement workshops in her area, utilizing her graduate degree in dance therapy.
